Last updated 17 October 2026.
Who we are
Nanteza is a private network for African, Black and Caribbean university students and alumni. For any questions about your details, write to hello@nanteza.com.
What we collect and why
When you register, we ask for your first and last name, email address, country of residence, countries of interest (optional), universities, societies, whether you are a student or alumni, and your confirmation that you are 18 or over. We keep a record of that confirmation with the date and time you gave it.
We use these details to review your application, set up your account, and place you in the right community groups and events, including by country. Receiving the Nanteza newsletter is an optional choice you make separately.
Who can join
Nanteza is for people aged 18 or over. When you apply, we ask you to confirm that you are 18 or over.
Who can see your details
We do not sell your details. Other members see your details only if you choose this in your profile. Our hosting and email providers handle your data solely on our instructions.
How long we keep your details
We keep your details while you are a member, or until you ask us to remove them. Unapproved applications are deleted on request.
Your rights
You can ask to see, update, or delete your details at any time by emailing hello@nanteza.com. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email.
